Reception after the Icons of Europe concert at Astoria, Brussels, 17 November 2002, a month before the Copenhagen summit.Icons of Europe's global NIGHTINGALE project was initiated in 2002 by the concert and reception we organized in Brussels, on the theme of a new Renaissance,  to celebrate the EU enlargement process.

Since then, the scope of the Nightingale project has been strengthened, and a series of events have been implemented in cooperation with many organizations.  They include BP, Rothschild Europe, Telefonica, Vattenfall and other large companies as well as 12 ambassadors.  New initiatives are underway.


Objective:  global platform for dialogue

The objective of the global NIGHTINGALE project is to use the musical drama Nightingale Opus 24 as a platform for dialogue and inspiration of value to industry and international relations.

THE SEAMLESSNESS OF GREAT CULTURE

An ambassador in the audience of the Warsaw premiere of Nightingale Opus 24 wrote afterwards to his government about the drama:


"It ingeniously brought together historical and musical elements from all over Europe ... to bring out the seamlessness of great European culture."
