Background:  four sources
Since its foundation in 2001 as a not-for-profit organization, the activity of Icons of Europe has been funded by four sources:

  • Corporate sponsors participating in specific events;
  • Individual friends contributing to the costs of events;
  • The revenue of our Chopin biography (August 2003);
  • The founders of Icons of Europe financing all other activity including historical research, publishing of documentation, web site development, and management and overheads.

Patronage of events by ambassadors has been an important asset.
