Md'lle Jenny Lind gave a farewell concert at St..Lawrence Hall, Toronto on 23 October 1851.  She was accompanied by Otto Goldschmidt, whom she married in Boston in 1852.

The very first item of her programme in 1851 was Themes from  La Sonnambula, Bellini's opera.  The last item:  The Echo Song.

The April 2005 premiere of Chopin and The Nightingale will include both these items.
