The recital was attended by 50 people.   The programme was introduced by the
Chopin Society Chairman.

Daniel Blumenthal enjoys an international reputation as soloist, concert musician and chamber artist.  He is a laureate of several international competitions including the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition of Belgium.  Mr Blumenthal is professor in piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels;  guest professor at Thy Masterclass Chamber Music Festival, Denmark;  member of Thisted Master Chamber Players;  and musical advisor to Icons of Europe.  Daniel Blumenthal plays the Steinway.


Most of Chopin's music was composed in Poland and France and at Mallorca.
